Downtown Lake Worth
April Events

The DCA (Downtown Cultural Alliance) of Lake Worth, the City of Lake Worth, LULA (The Lake Worth Arts Corridor, and Lake Worth work together to bring family events to Downtown Lake Worth on a weekly basis. All events are free.

April 6: Evening of the Avenue begins at 6:00PM. Shops, restaurants and galleries plan special openings while vendors and street performers entertain the crowds. The party continues in the Cultural Plaza with live bands and vendors.

April 7: Women for Women 5K Run sponsored by the Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce will begin in Downtown Lake Worth from 6:00AM to 10:00AM.

April 7: Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Lake Worth Department of Recreation will take place in Bryant Park from 11AM to 3PM.

April 7-8: Friends of the Library Book Sale and Lake Worth Art League Outdoor Show will be held in the Cultural Plaza in Downtown Lake Worth. The Library Sale takes place from 8AM to 6PM and the Art League Sale from 10AM to 5PM.

April 14: Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale from 10AM to 4PM. Vendors set up booths up and down Lake Avenue. The town bustles with activity as street performers sing, street dancers dance and hula hoopers hoop. Lake Worth residents may set up tables for $10 each and non-residents for $15 each.

April 20: Evening on the Avenue begins at 6:00PM. Shops, restaurants and galleries plan special openings while vendors and street performers entertain the crowds. The party continues in the Cultural Plaza with live music and vendors.

April 20: Second Annual Peeps Show presented by Clay Glass Metal Stone features dioramas made from Easter Peeps. Last year over 2000 visitors viewed scenes of Sergeant Peepers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Cannibal Peeps roasting Peep marshmallows over open fires, and Picket Line Peeps. This year Peep Haute Couture will be the rage. Peeps Show begins at 6PM at 605 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.

April 21: Earth Day takes place in the Downtown Cultural Plaza sponsored by Kiwanis and DCA. This is a free day of family fun featuring games, arts and crafts and vendors with ecology themes. The event goes from 10AM to 10PM.

April 28: Tree Board Giveaway takes place in the Downtown Lake Worth Cultural Plaza. During the last hurricane Lake Worth lost 80% of its tree canopy. The tree board has been giving out free trees ever since to replant and restore the beauty of the area. The Tree Giveaway takes place from 8AM to Noon.
